About Ndaka Safari Lodge
Ndaka lodge has 7 spacious luxury tents and 3 Luxury family tents, all overlooking the Nambiti reserve. Animals can often be seen from the lounge area of your tent as they graze in the veld.
For couples the tents have a large lounge area which can then be made up for families with 2 or even 3 children easily fitting into the tent alongside the King size bed in the Main bedroom.
There are also rooms available in the main lodge, which is the original old Farmhouse on the Ndaka property. There are 3 standard rooms, 2 of which can be combined to make a family room with an inter leading door.
There are two game drives daily and if that isn't enough you can ask for a fishing trip in the middle of the day as well! What we enjoyed was having a short afternoon drive and then going out on a night drive. You are not always guaranteed great sightings on the night drive but it gives you a different perspective and shows a fascinating aspect of bushlife at night.
The tents are all equipped with electric blankets on the beds as well as heaters to keep you snug in winter and ceiling fans to cool you down in summer.
The 6 luxury safari tents overlook the Nambiti plains and a small waterhole in front of the lodge. The tents are large enough to have 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 or 3 children can have single beds.
Meals times are relaxed and sociable with continental breakfasts served buffet-style either in the lapa or under the tree in the garden after the morning game drive. A cooked breakfast is also available, prepared according to guests’ preferences.
A light lunch is served in the lapa at the buffet table.
Dinner is a 3- course affair in the lapa or around a blazing fire (weather permitting).
Soft drinks, spirits, malts and wines are also available from the bar.

Children and Game Drives at Nambiti, Ndaka Lodge
Ndaka really goes out of it's way to make sure young children are felt included in everything from meal times to game drives. It really is a true family wilderness destination for those travelling with children.
Whilst kids sleep in the same tent, they have their own section to one side with the choice of single beds or camp-cots and don't feel "squeezed in". This is due to the large size of the tents that Ndaka use. The gardens and grounds are fenced in and there is plenty space for kids to work off their excess energy without getting in the way of other guests. The large indigenous garden provides plenty of space for the kids to play everything from their favourite sports, hide-‘n-seek, trampoline and in Summer, the swimming pool
POLICY REGARDING CHILDREN ON GAME DRIVES
Children aged 4 years and younger are welcomed on game drives. Car seats available for younger children but parents need to be sensitive and aware of the sometimes unpredictable behaviour of the wild animals.
Safety is paramount and generally these drives will not be allowed within 50 meters of a Big 5 sighting. This is however at the sole discretion of the ranger at the time of the sighting.
Guests with children of similar ages will travel together on game viewers but in the event of this not being possible, then parents are requested to be considerate of other guests also enjoying their experience in the bush.
Children must remain quiet on drives so as to not inconvenience other guests on the vehicle as well as other guests on other game drives.
Please advise your Nambiti.info reservations agent if your arrival time is going to differ from the one you completed on your booking form.
On arrival at the gate and after filling in your arrival form you will be directed to the parking area where your Ndaka Lodge Guide will come and fetch you. Your Big 5 adventure starts as soon as you enter the gate so please drive carefully and be responsible if you happen on any sightings on your way to the parking.
You will be transported by Game Viewer to the Lodge.
